Welcome to Perry's Audio Video Designs
When people learn what it is I do, they eventually ask, "This is cool, how long have you been doing this?" With a sly smile I simply say, "Well, I have been doing it professionally for 6 years but as a hobby for 50."

For me, Audio and Video is a passion. But passion isn't enough. To excel, I follow a simple plan: Sell my customer on the process:
  • Be attentive and Listen closely to what my customer has to say
  • Ask lots of questions
  • Help my customer realize what their needs, goals and passions are
  • Educate them on today's technology and the many possibilities
  • Assist and guide my customer down a comfortable path
  • Don't over design or most importantly overly complicate
These are the guidelines I follow with virtually every potential customer I meet. That is why I have been successful in a professional environment for over 6 years. And I have the customer list to prove it.
Why should you consider a Custom Installer?
There was a time when you brought home a TV, connected it to rabbit ears or an outdoor antenna and after some fidgeting, you had a picture, usually that is. Then along came VCRs with another remote control and the obligatory flashing "12:00am". Toss in a DVD player and a cable or Satellite box and you are now navigating between 3 or remotes, switching TV inputs. And now you want surround sound? Do you really believe the A/V industry was designed as plug and play?

The most frequent comment I hear is "Remotes everywhere and I can't figure this %^$* thing out".

As a custom installer, I select the equipment, integrate new and if available, your existing equipment into a system, properly configured and set up and controlled with a single remote to make life sweet and easy. And last but not least, no one escapes my training.

It isn't rocket science, but if you don't know the optimum way to connect it, if you don't know the impact of room has on sound, if you don't have the right cables and finally if you don't read the manual and are able to decipher its meaning, your experience will be unfulfilling and frustrating. With the emphasis on frustrating! I know, I've been there.
